AAS and FMI for Robotic Production Modules
To enhance the sustainability of robotic production modules, energy consumption and carbon emission should be considered during the design and the production planning phase. Virtual Commissioning (VC) of robotic production modules must therefore be equipped with sustainability parameters to allow the selection of the optimal robot and the mounted technology for a given production task during the early phases. The approach of integrating sustainability analytics and optimization based on standards during the design of production modules enables increased sustainability in robotic manufacturing.
