Holistic approach to resourcesaving inductive hardening in the age of industry 4.0

Projections like process analysis and optimisation, a proactive energy management and semi-automated support of machine operators and process designers gain a dramatic significance at times of Industry 4.0, IoT especially against the background of serious industry-political change. Hence lots of efforts are being done at technical level to encounter this change with intelligent systems to simplify processes. The current article takes some constituents from machine-,process- and energy optimisation concepts and illustrates by means of hands-on examples practical applications.
